    Angry repeated yeast infections?

i have been suffering from repeated yeast infections throughout this year and i recently read something that said that it could be from my sexual partner (meaning that i gave it to him, and then he gave it back to me). i was wondering...
-can a guy can have a yeast infection without symptoms?
-how would a male find out if he has a yeast infection?
    -how would it be treated?

any advice or knowledge would really help.
    thanks!

    Hi kayyy

yes a man can have thrush without symptoms. he can also get tested to see if he has this. they have plenty of things out there to treat both of you, the best one being the oral capsule taken with water, i have taken this a couple of times and i have found this to be effective. if both you and your partner do this and you still continue getting yeast infections, go to the doctor so they can check you out and you can also try changing your diet, i dont know much about anti yeast diets but i have heard that they work, i do know that eating too much sugar feeds the yeast, typical with all the good things!

    hope it works out

Have either of you been on antibiotics recently? unfortunately in killing bad bacteria antibiotics also kill good bacteria and allow yeast to grow...you may also want to try taking acidophiles pills...they are natural good bacteria that will eat yeast.. both you and your parner should get checked if the problem doesn't go away though..its not harmful, but very annoying.

the thing is that he hasn't said anything to me about having any symptoms and i haven't seen any symptoms when i'm with him. i have been having this problem and used otc treatment.. and eventually went to the gyno for meds.. it worked and cleared everything up. i didn't see him for a few weeks and then a couple days ago i did, and now im having symptoms again. it could just be a coincidence, but i figured that maybe he had something to do with it. the problem is though that he can't easily go to a doctor to be checked out because he doesn't have health insurance. is there a way to know if he has it without going to the doctor?
