Thread: the pill and pregnancy..

i was wondering if anyone knows the approximate time it takes to get pregnant if you've been on the pill for ten yrs or longer? i started the pill at 15 and now am 25. my fiance wants me to go off because he thinks it will be at least a yr before i can get pregnant. but if that is way off i don't want to do it till after the wedding. please help if you can. thanks

Some birth control pills have absolutely no waiting period between. It all depends on the type of birth control you are taking. I'd read the insert and it usually tells you when to stop if you want to get pregnant.
