    Default Pelvic Pain,Heavy Periods?

I've had constant pelvic pain/cramping for a year and a half now, almost 2 years and it's only getting worse.I've had ultrasounds and a laparoscopy but it didn't show anything.I was also placed on birthcontrol for 6 months and it didn't help at all.I've tried advil, tylenol 3's,strong anti-inflammatories nothing helps the pain.

Also since the pain started my periods have been really messed up.I used to be quite regular before the pain started (every 36-38 days)but when the pain first started my cycles changed anywhere from 14 days to 40 days, and now my cycles have been getting longer it went from 42 days to over 54 days. Also my periods have always been heavy since I first started when I was 12 (I'm almost 18)but since the summer it's been rediculously heavy,I soak through a super tampon in half an hour to an hour.

The doctors I've been to have no idea what's wrong and the gyn I went to just gave up on me a few months ago.I'm going to look for another doctor once things settle down and I'm done moving out.

Does anyone know what this might be?Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I have a friend who had the same problem. Finally the Doctor went in for surgery and found she had endometriosis. This was when she was a teen. She is now in her 30's and has two kids.

    I would get a 2nd opinion.
