I am 36 and going in for an abdominal Hysterectomy Mar 27th. I am scared for a million different reason but mostly the recovery. I am a suck- when it comes to pain, I am worse than a man with a cold )

I am looking for some people who can tell me what to expect, when I might be able to get up and down the stairs, cook small meals, shower......... the Dr's give an estimate but I'd rather hear from women who've been thru it. Due to only being 36, I don't have any friends who've been thru it.

Any feed back would be great adn may help me to get some sleep.
