hey everyone i'm new. but i have a problem. I'm on a blood thinner and i recently develpoed a bartholin cyst after 6 months of the last one i had. I cant go and have it drained by my doctor due to being on the blood thinner. the pain goes away when i sit down but when i stand up or walk it hurts. i cant avoid walking i'm a desk clerk at a hotel so i am on my feet. tylenol does not help with the pain. its not that big about the size of a large marble. my last one was the size of an egg and i ruptured on its own but i have the risk of bleeding a lot due to the blood thinner. what can i do to make it more comfortable to work and ease the pain.

    Welcome quart.

What has your Doctor told you about this? I am confused, in as much as it can't be ignored, there must be an alternative means of getting rid of it.

Pain killers are not my preference because you then become addicted and they don't work.

Heat bags? They seem to work very well placed in the area of pain.

So is your Doctor waiting for it to rupture on it's own then deal with the bleeding?

What are the causes of the cyst? Has this been explained to you for future?

    Sorry for the questions.
