    Default Cervical biopsy and cramping

I had a cervical biopsy done on Thursday because my gynocologist said I had mild dysplasia/HPV. I know that cramps were one of the after effects of the biopsy, but I still have pretty severe cramps almost 5 days later. I'm not on my period and I'm not due to start for another 2 weeks. Is the continued cramping normal or should I call my doctor? I would appreciate any help, thanks!

Your body will heal and we all react differently to how long that takes, but if it hasn't subsided after a week, then I would go back and see your Doctor if for nothing else, to help with the pain.

I think mine lasted 10 days or so, from what I can remember.

Did he/she give you anything to take to help?
