'scuz the bluntness, but I'd really appreciate if someone knowledgeable can give their two-cents to this. I am 34, I just got married 3 weeks ago. I was a virgin when we got married. My husband, while he was not a virgin, had only had sex once before, 15 years ago. Here's the deal.. we live in Italy temporarily and so going to a doctor locally has all sorts of complications tied to it. I would like to get some advice before going that route immediately:
Three days ago, yellow creamy stuff Ive never seen before started coming out of me. It doesn't smell, it doesn't itch, there is no other side effects, except a little bit of a stomach ache sporadically (which might not have anything to do with it since we've been eating odd food lately). I've started wearing a pad to catch the yellow stuff, since when it comes out there's enough of it that I need to wear something. Sorry to be gross. but Does this sound like a yeast infection? I hope it is nothing more than that. We have not been using any kind of contraceptives, and have only been together on days I would not be fertile. I am due for my period any day now.
Ive just been a bit scared by things I have been reading about yellow discharge, that it could be something more serious than a yeast infection. I was trying to follow the advice of my girlfriends in avoiding one by cleaning up after my husband and I were together in that way, and I thought all was in the clear until three days ago. Still, a yeast infection seems quite preferable to the other things that seem to be associated with yellow gunk. anyone have any thoughts? thanks a lot...!!
