Thread: Extremely Irregular Periods

Hi, Ive just turned 20 at the start of may, all my life ive had irregular periods but about 2 yrs ago i went on the contraceptive injection depo prevera i did it once an it totally messed up my cycle. then about 8months later i tried it again (aug 08) and back in october i started spotting and it lasted 4 long months. Then i thought it was all back to normal but now in the last 6 weeks ive had a full period then 5 days after it finishing it starts again this is the 3rd one im on right now and i was so desperate to find out i went to a gynea yesterday an told me it might just still be the injection affecting my cycle. However, she said she's goin to run some tests because she wants to rule other things out before startin any treatment like a certain pill because i suffer from migraine, im terrified of what the results might be and im extremely worried if anybody at all has ANY feedback on this situation i would really appreciate any info because im just going to worry myself to death until the tests come back!!!!!

When was your last pap test done? Have you always had heavy periods?
