I've read a lot (a little here, but mostly on other BV sites) about the use of folic acid in helping get rid of BV symptoms. Of everything I've read, that's the one thing I've seen most women have success with...
However, I've been taking 800-1600 mcg. of folic acid a day for a week now, and I can't tell that it's actually done anything. All the success stories I've read involve symptoms practically disappearing within a few days. But not me!
Have any women with BV tried folic acid? Has it worked? And if so, how long did it take to be symptom free?
This is so discouraging, it's driving me crazy.
