OMG, what is wrong with me?
Hi!
I am a 31 yr old female who has never been pregnant.
I've been suffering with some vaginal and bladder problems for the past 2-3 yrs.
Pain with intercourse, vaginal dryness, clitoral problems, no sex drive, bladder spasms, etc.
Lately it's gotten a lot worse. The bladder spasms are very bad so I have to watch my caffeine intake as it makes them so much worse.
I haven't been able to have sex with my husband in 3 months... we tried last week but it was too painful.
This whole last couple of years we've barely been able to have sex and it's killing me as well as my husband! I miss that closeness.
I've been having weird clitoris problems that have gotten a lot worse over the past several months.
I think it started out with kind of a numbness and pressure, that started about 2 yrs ago and then it turned into feeling like a pin was inside my clitoris.
It gets swollen sometimes and very painful and uncomfortable.
Anyway about a month ago my clitoris was especially irritated and swollen and looked so strange. Kind of knobby like? Hard to describe. Also I noticed small white bumps on the skin around it.
It calmed down with time and with epsom salt soaks. I made an appt with my gyno the next morning but the wait was over a month!
I hadn't seen her in 2 yrs, I know I should have made an appt but it's just been a horrible and hectic couple of years.
Anyway today I was using the bathroom and wiped and noticed spots of blood on the paper, I wiped 2-3 more times and each time got more spots.
I went and got a mirror to see if I could see where I was bleeding from, I didn't but saw something very shocking and upsetting.
I do not know what it is for sure but I think it is my cervix that is at my vaginal opening!!!!
I am so horrified and depressed! I can't believe all this is happening to me.
I called my gyno to talk to someone and they weren't much help at all. They couldn't tell me anything but did schedule me to see the nurse practitioner next Wed for this problem. I will still go back finally for my scheduled appt with my gyno the following Wed.
Can anyone here help me? I'm really freaked out and am just devastated!
If this is cervical prolapse then my only options are surgery or that pessary device correct? Both of which are supposed to be horrible and cause problems as well!
I was already so devastated having no sex drive and it hurting so badly when we tried to have sex as well as the discomfort that was constant-all this that all started in my late 20s... I already felt like an old woman and that my life was over and now this huge new problem?! What a nightmare!!!!

Your obviously very sensitive and there are obviously issues there that need to be addressed and sorted out which only your Doctors can do, upon sight and discussions.
I am wondering though, you suffer from dryness, you tried last week, you have swollen and see little white lumps, it eases with epson salt. That part of it more than likely is the friction when you both tried, and the dryness which caused thrush and this can extend internally as well.
If warm baths with salt help, that's the usual remody of assisting thrush as is patting yourself there and inside with walm water, a little salt.. But, you need to pop into the chemist and ask for a thrush tablet, it's only 1 takes one day to start to clear.
I can't explain the blood spotting except your having difficulties down there to the hilt, you definately need to make sure you tell your Doctor and Gyno everything you've said here so they do the appropriate tests but try to clear the thrush before you go, because it will not feel comfortable for you, when they conduct a pap smear, otherwise...
Sorry you are going through all of this, I hope there is someone on the Forum that can relate and put your mind at ease regarding the other problems.
