    Default Fleshy bumps...

I know these are not the product of an STD. These fleshy bumps are slightly raised and leak a white or creamy brown/red liquid-like pus. I have "popped" one of these bumps, which I know I probably shouldn't have, and now i have a pearly purple/red/white scar that dips just a little into my skin. I do shave and have only gotten these bumps in my inner thighs and on the outside of my vagina. This problem is embarrassing and gross, I am going to the doctor soon I just want some insight before hand. Could this be an issue with my sweat glands? or a product of shaving?

Also wearing tight knickers rubbing on your skin can create these.

    Certainly shaving as well...In-grown hairs.

I never had them before now i get them every now and then and I'm convinced it's because i shave more and wear knickers sometimes that are tight at the groin area.

sometimes you can ghet cysts on your groin area, they can be caused by trauma. they are small round raised bumps under the skin. normally they arent anything to worry about, but it wont hurt to make sure your doctor examines them. if the "bumps" look caulisflower like, then its more than likely warts, which you NEED to have treated.

Make sure whatever you are shaving with is clean and not dull. You may also want to cleanse the area afterwards with something like bactine or phisoderm. Something with some form of anti-bacterial properties. Don't use anti-bacterial soap, you don't want to leave any residue. If you keep probing at them, you could end up with an infection that will need to be treated by a doc.

I have bumps like that too, but I'm not sure what they are. I went to the doctor a long time ago and he told me it was from sweating down there and wearing tight pants. But then he told my BF at the time that it was Genital Warts!! So now I am confused!! Darn Doctor!

It could be a Molluscum infection too, that's not technically an STD as people get it without sexual contact but it can be transmitted sexually and needs a doctor to examine it.
