I am 42 almost 43 and I have been having painfull periods that last over a week. this has been going on for the last 10 months. It would hurt having sex and it would feel like I have alot of pressure in my lower region. I went to my gyno and had test's done and found out I have three fiboroids. Well, I have to have a historectomey. I have no children and always thought I would have time to do so, just never found the right man. I always thought I would get to use my uterus, at least once. I have been putting it off for the last few months. I have realy had a hard time with this. Very upsetting. All my sisters have children and my husband can't even begin to understand. I don't know if I should keep my overies or just one, or have both taken out. What do you think ?
