About a year ago, I was checking inside my vagina, just to check and make sure everything was all right. I reached back, and felt a large, hard lump on the top wall. It's about two inches back and it's hard - if I press it, it feels like some ball of something just under the flesh. I immediately freaked out and called my mom (I was staying with friends at the time), who had not idea what it could be, and set me up an appointment with the gyno (I had to go see one anyway, because I wanted to get on the birth control pill).
Well, the day I went, I was on my period, and even though they're not bothered by it, I felt really bad about having them examine me when I was bleeding. So the lump thing never came up.
Time went by. My boyfriend never noticed it during sex, which I thought was kind of strange, because it's almost big enough to block off at least half of my vagina. But it's still there. It's never created a problem, really. It feels unpleasant if I put too much pressure on it. But I have no idea what it is! Before I go running back to the gyno, does anyone out there know what it might be?
