    what is wrong with me?
the last few times i have had sex with my boyfriend it stings when he enters me and then for about 30 minutes after we are finished. my labia is extremely red and there are a couple of small cuts on either side of my clitoris and on the opening to my vagina. after about one day all of the symptoms are gone and i feel fine. although one time i was extremely itchy for about 2 days afterwards.
we were tested for std's last september and are both fine.
i have had 2 abnormal pap tests and am waiting for an appointment to see the gynecologist. but in the mean time i am wondering if anyone can relate to this or have any idea what could be wrong?
    thankyou!

    Unhappy Similar Problems

    Hello -
I have similar problems. I feel fine down there, then when my husband enters me, it stings at the entrance as if I've been torn... Just like a salty finger touching a cut - just makes you take in a sharp breath. I try more and more lube, it feels better. The longer we go on, it starts to hurt again and add more lube - goes away a bit more. Then afterwards, I always wash with wetwipes or at least plain water, sometimes Summers Eve in the bath.... And no matter what I do, after sex (so for the past 4 mos. or so), I itch and itch like no tomorrow for the next few days. We've gone without sex for going on 2 weeks, the itching goes away after 1 week, no pain... nothing. We have sex again and it starts all over again.
We use condoms, Carragenan lube (water based instead of petroleum based), though the condoms are spermicidally lubricated too - there's nothing odd going on. been using the same stuff for quite a long time. I'm on birth control, but am due for my next gyno in oct. or so - so...

I'm not sure what's going on either. I'm hoping the lambskin condoms do the trick - less tacky or something. Not sure. I try not washing with Sum. Eve half as much, and though it helps some, after sex I still get way itchy and stay that way for a week or so. It's bothersome, and painful for him when I'm in so much pain during sex.
I feel for you! I really do. Cuz I feel the same pains & itches.

Keep the chemicals away fron your labia and vaginal area, especially if the tissue is irritated. No babywipes, "feminine washes" or any of that. If you are using condoms, it could be a sensitivity to the latex or the spermacide.
