IF there is anyone out there how has experienced these symptoms, or that can help in any way I would GREATLY appreciate it.

I've been experiencing external vaginal itching for about 6-8 months now, maybe longer. There are no sores, bumps, swelling. Just itchyness. Sometimes I wake up from my sleep I am so itchy. I have one sexual partner, which has been faithful for the past 4 1/2 years... It itches so much that I have rubbed raw, and it bleeds. Even without scratching my skin bleeds when I pee... I went to the gynocologist and he did a pap test, I did have abnormal cells on my cervix and he removed them. He looked and said everything looks fine. right after I scratch I can not bathe or shower because it stings so much... also, I've been noticing that my behaviour has been changing.

Mood swings are an understatement, not violent or anything, just crying mostly... I live an excellent life, have a wonderful boyfriend, a great family, great job, very active and travel a lot. Could any of this be related? I went to the doctor and had blood work done about a year ago everything was fine? My mother is a cervical cancer survivor, she was 30 when she had a historectamy. I am only 23... I have a doctors appointment booked for Monday, July 27th, hoping to get back in to see my gynocologist ( who isn't taking appointment until September )... PLEASE HELP!

A couple of things come to mind:

When you saw the doctor, did he check to see if there's any yeast? The most prominent symptom of a yeast infection is itching, and it's not always accompanied by other symptoms.

Also, it could be a hormonal issue. I'm not sure because you're not in the same boat, but my mom had a hysterectomy a couple years ago and has had to use a vaginal estrogen cream ever since...if she doesn't, she gets really dry and itchy down there. So if something's throwing your hormones off balance somehow it might be treatable in some way like that. Your doctor would be able to help you determine this.
