I often feel as though I have some kind of infection- soreness and slightly painful. It makes sex awkard and painful. However, when I get check out, my tests come out clean. Is there some kind of infection or illness that doesn't come out in tests?

I have been having the same problem. Soreness and it's uncomfortable. Also, it is really itchy ALL the time. The first doctor I went to said I had a bacterial infection and gave me antibiotics which just made me throw up. Then the second doctor I went to was really rude and degrating but she said everything was fine...even though I know it is not. I don't know what to do now and I'm tired of seeing doctors. So let me know if you figure anything out please. I think I am going to try some natural stuff for BV. You should look at the chronic BV feed because there are a lot of good suggestions there Good luck.
