Thread: clitoral pain and itching...

So Ive been having serious pain in my clitorus and I dont know why, on top of that its now itching so bad and the scratching has broken the skin and hurts too... its awful. Baths helped with the swelling some, and the pain has reduced some but not completely. But the itching is still .. there. Can anyone help?

Hmm, as with most of these issues...seeing a gynecologist would be a good idea. You might have a bacterial or yeast infection as I read on another site that itching isn't always restricted to the vaginal opening. There are other issues that have clitoral itching as a symptom, such as lichen sclerosis...but you won't know unless you have someone take a look.

You might try a cool sitz bath to help relieve the itching and pain, but definitely don't stay quiet out of shyness or any related feeling. You and your body deserve to be happy and itch-free.
