Default clitoris dead after accidental trauma

hi, this is my first post. i was just looking for a place to talk about this. about 4 months ago, i was climbing over a metal fence but i accidentally lost my grip while i was at the top and the way i landed on it about all of the impact was centered right on my clit. (yes it HURT)

after the pain went away i noticed there wasn't any sensation in it, but i figured i just needed to give it a bit of time to heal and return to her old self. well, the sensation never started coming back to i went in to have it looked at. the doctors told me that the impact has caused irreversible physical nerve damage around the base of it. (the last thing i wanted to hear)

so now here i am still with complete numbness, and i don't know what to do! there's not even a hint of sensation in it anymore. even if i give it a hard pinch i feel zero pain. (pinching it in a way that would definitely hurt normally for sure) it literally just feels like i have no clitoris.

this is really distressing because before i would get myself to have 2 to 4 very strong orgasms daily, so this loss is very difficult for me to deal with. suddenly i'm never able to ever have one again? i don't know what to do.

has anybody else ever been in this kind of situation before?

Jess, that's sad I am sorry.

Well, I never believe in giving up, what actual tests did this Doctor do, or was that purely his/her diagnosis?

I would read everything there is to read up on this and I would get a second opinion.

Failing this, you know there is always light at the end of tunnel, you can master and learn how to have G-Spot orgasms by yourself they are very intense as well...

I hope you search and find answers.

Wow! That must be really difficult. Do you really know how extensive this damage is? The nerves of the clit do extend beyond, perhaps you can experiment and find out if there is anything there? See if you can find a Tantrix in your area, she may be able to help you with this. Also it is possible to train any part of the body to experience arousal to orgasm. This will take some research and training. There are women who orgasm without being touched or from nipple or other stimulation. If they can learn it, you can, especially if you have been orgasmic previously.

There are therapists who work with women who have been circumcised to help them learn to experience arousal and in some cases orgasm, I'm sure you can find some avenues for help if you look. Good luck with this. I can't imagine how difficult and frustrating it must be.

If you go to borders online you can search for tantra books....buy one!!!!! Also look up wheatgrasss I have told this board time and time again to look to wheatgrass. I use a brand made by Evergreen it is frozen. My daughter had a kidney problem at birth and it rebuilt it.....5 docs told me she had to have an operation! Doctors can be wrong....get a second opin!

If the nerves are indeed severely damaged there will be no fixing it. Physically there will be no chance of a neural reconnection. Tantra is a possible option, but only if you believe in the material. If you do not then the only thing left, physically, is Gspot.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

    Jess...

As this is a potential life long situation, a second opinion is an absolute necessity, even a third would be more realistic. However, don't settle for an opinion of the average professional. Instead, seek a doctor already having a reputation of successful nerve restoration and re-vitalization. Historically so, the central nerve stream cords can be re-united and, if this can apply to a clitoris, then some of your sensations can be restored as well...

Meanwhile, as already mentioned...that little reserve package, your G-spot, can supplement but you may have to train your man for finding it...

It's a sad loss for any girl and I so wish for your restoration success...

he used a machine that gives really strong electrical stimulation since it's a lot more powerful than what a finger can provide, but i still got absolutely nothing. also physically examined it pretty closely.

thanks to you all for the support. i'm not exactly optimistic about this though, because i know it's impossible to re-connect nerves to talk with the brain once severed. and yes, i've been trying g-spot stimulation (i do know where it is) but it's the same situation.. it's all connected to the same big bundle of nerves so nothing there either for me.

    really depressing situation.

yeah, this is the truth i think unfortunately. i know the body as a remarkable ability to heal itself, so maybe over some years i'll at least get a little bit of sensation back who knows.

to those of you that suggested looking into tantra, thanks for the support. it doesn't really work for me like it does for others though. my guy and i experimented with it in the past. the only way i could ever orgasm was direct physical stimulation.

Jess don't give up on things that might help you bypass this. It didn't "work" for you before but you have reason to revisit this and other possibilities. Did you and your bf try it on your own? You should locate some experienced Tantrix and see what they have to offer?
