hello everyone,
i have been experiencing a dark brown discharge ever since i got diagnosed and treated for a yeast infection. i had none of the symptoms for a yeast infection and only went to see my doctor because of light blodd colored discharge. this is when i was told i had a yeast infection and prescribed diflucan. after taking the medication, i got a heavier discharge in a dark brown color, rather than light brown and not as heavy. this was about 11 days ago and it doesnt seem to be going away. i still dont have any itching, burning, or swelling, etc.
how long does it take for a yeast infection to heal?
is the increase in discharge normal?
is the color normal?
shoudl i go to the doctor to get another prescription or use and over the counter treatment?
i have had bv before and know this is not it and my doctor was quick to judge it is a YI.
any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you
