Thread: I had a hysterectomy done on August 3 2009

Hi my name is Jill I just wanted to let you know that on August the 3 I had a hysterectomy done. After my last surgery my stomach pains were getting worst. I had every test done out there from my gi doctor he ruled out it was not my gallbladder. It has to do more with my period. I had my surgery done on August 3 by 10:00 p.m. that night I was walking with the help of a nurse. By 12:00 pm. the next day I was eating food again by 2:00 p.m. that day I had my Iv.taken out. The rest of the day I was walking on my own. the day after that I was discharge by 2:00 p.m. The 5 day after my surgery I had my staples taken out. Some of the nurses that were not mine ask me what kind of surgery I had I told the that I had a hysterectomy they said I was the fastest recovery person they every seen. While I don't think that alibaby is active on the forums any more, I have seen your posts develop and am sorry I didn't have the necessary info to help you out.
