Please bear with the length...but I could really use some input!

I've been battling with this for a year and a half now...posted on here at various points where I was being "treated" for different infections, but now it's come down to this.

It started in February last year. Was treated for a yeast infection. Symptoms persisted (thick, yellow discharge and lots of irritation/itching). Was tested for ALL stds, all came back negative. Was treated for cervicitis, to no avail. Was treated for BV as a last resort. Symptoms still persisted. The doc (second one I'd seen at that point) told me they'd probably just go away on their own, and told me nothing was wrong with me. This was May last year.

Went until December waiting for symptoms to "go away." In December, scheduled a pap with a new doctor. Talked to doc about symptoms, and she tried to treat me for "chronic" BV with prolonged flagyl over the course of 3 months. I didn't do the treatment, as I'd already tried flagyl. Went back to the gyno's office last week, where I was cultured for strep. Got a call today, saying I have no strep, no yeast, and no bacteria of ANY kind...all my vaginal flora was COMPLETELY normal.

So what's causing these symptoms? They're pretty debilitating at times, makes me too uncomfortable for physical activity sometimes. The only odor I've ever noticed isn't very strong, and it's kind of vinegary, but not fishy.

I tried the candida diet for about 3 weeks once and it did NOTHING (not even a slight dent in symptoms), and also tried Threelac (again, nothing). I don't know what to do at this point...I've seen 3 different doctors, and they all insist there's nothing wrong with me... Any ideas???
