Vaginal Pain
My girlfriend has been having problems recently with vaginal (or abdominal) pain. Last December she had a ruptured ovarian cyst and ever since then she has had problems. In May she had more pain from an ovarian cyst and they put her on a new birth control where she has her cycle only every 3 months. Then, in August (about a month ago), we were having sex and she stopped because she said her cyst felt weird. Over the next couple days it got much worse and we went to see the gyno at Kaiser and they said there was nothing wrong but to just wait it out, no pain meds or anything. Also, we were both virgins until late June if that has any relevance. She couldnt sleep for two nights so we finally got Vicodin and it held the pain off for the most part. Then about a week later it just went away. Two weeks later it came back again, after we had sex she had some slight bleeding. This time it was worse and I had to take her to the ER because she couldnt sleep, hardly ate at all, and had bleeding. The ER ran all kinds of test and said it was just stress and a small UTI, which they gave her some meds for. The pain went away again, but this morning we had sex for the first time in over a week and she started feeling a burning in the front of her vagina. It has now turned into the pain in the lower right abdomen again and she is still not eating or sleeping well and has not been for over a week. I am concerned, I do not know if this is just stress or how to treat it. I am concerned it has something to do with sex because it seems to happen when we do it. Two things I forgot to mention were that she stopped taking her birth control about a week ago and that she had an orgasm this morning when we had sex, and then we went to do it again and she felt the burning. I am not sure if the last time she had an orgasm first, but I do know that the first time she did not have an orgasm. Any ideas?? I am very worried.
Thanks
