Could this be like one of those muscular twitches that you get sometimes under your eye or in a leg muscle?? Could it be gas?

    Default vibrations

Glad I am not alone. It is odd I also thought it was my cell phone. Healthy / fit 39 year old, not using birth control have been getting vibrations for the past two weeks. The only difference is I am sitting / driving more than I used to. My vibrations are at the top of my skin. It actually feels more on the outside than inside of my skin.

    Red face It's a miracle

I'm astonished, this has been happening for 4 days now everytime I exhale and I was starting to get worried until I found this forum.
After reading all the posts IT STOPPED. I think I was making it worse by getting stressed out by it. As soon as I started to relax, knowing I wasn't alone and that a DR didn't think too much of it, it stopped.

    Hi everyone,
I also thought I was crazy until I found this blog. I do believe that stress is an underlying factor. I have also been sitting a lot due to work and I feel this may have something to do with it. Either way, I think I found a solution. After experiencing the buzzing/twitching sensation for over a week, I thought I would go crazy. So I scheduled a MASSAGE in order to see if that might relieve my symptoms. I am happy to say that since the massage, I have had no twitching. In fact, the massage therapist worked on my lower back and buttocks and said I was incredibly tight...something about my sciatic nerve. So, if in fact it was a pinched or irritated nerve...it could be the sciatic giving some problems. I hope this helps and again...this is just my experience. Good luck

I haven't read all of the posts, but wanted to share my "vibrating" story.
The vibration I feel isn't a buzz, it's more like the muscles in my lower abdomen (right over where my cervix would be I suppose, cuz it's right above the pubic bone) are twitching on the inside. I always figured it's the whole "muscle spasming/over-firing" thing...

    Default Not just female problem

    Hi ladies,

I don't want to creep you out. I am a 39 year old - happily married - man. I just thought I would let you know that this isn't just a female problem. There are many men, including myself, who have felt the "phantom cell phone" syndrome in their penis and anus areas. I found this thread accidentally looking for answers, but you can read the horror stories from the other sets of chromosomes

Two common suspects mentioned for guys are enlarged or inflamed prostate or some type of pinched nerve. Given that many females seem to have the same thing, I wonder if the prostate theory is less credible.

Anyway, I hope I didn't creep anyone out - just thought I might help you all to know ...

Ok, the link was removed - I guess external links aren't allowed. But you can search for the symptoms and find many stories similar the ones related here. Just substitute the male genitalia terms for the female.

    Default I'm not going nuts!

Thanks, ladies, it helps to know I'm not alone. I can't even describe it properly to look it up anywhere. I hope we can figure it out soon because it is keeping me from sleeping and I can't go on like this much longer!

    Default Vibrating vagina

I just typed in vibrating vagina (thinking that I would not find a darn thing!) and have got this site. So, I am not the only one! It has been happening for a couple of days now. First days was on and off every 30 seconds or so and then second day almost constant. It is only on one side, right near where my vagina meets my leg. I am 38, married, have one child, not using any pills (only condoms) but my period is now a week late - although it is never actually on time ever! Hopefully I am not pregnant though. I think it maybe a nerve ending...well that's what it feels like to me or soem kind of blood flow issue...
