Default Help! Me too!

Lets see! I am going to be 40 in 3 days. I had a hysterectomy when I was 32. I just got this viberating about 2 weeks ago. If this is part of menopause, just shoot me now. I even have lost weight. Dont get it. Good to know that I am not losing it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Unhappy I'm buzzing too, dangit

So...this is happening to me as well. I too, am on birth control and am on day 12 of my pills. I missed taking a pill on day 11 and on day 12, the buzzing started. I am 29 years old, have had 4 children and since being on the pill have had very regular periods. One weird thing is that today, day 13 of the pills, I spotted a little. That never happens. What is the buzzing? Who has the answer?

Unhappy What is the BUZZ about?

OMG!!! I have just started havng this in the last two days. Just like the rest of you, I thought it was a cell phone. lol It wasn't. It happens like every 2 seconds. I have an IUD, got it about a year ago. I have never felt anything like this. I couldn't believe my eyes when I googled 'vaginal vibrations' and found this forum. It is like a bee is stuck up there somewhere and can't get out. It continues to vibrate whether I am sitting, standing, or moving. I too called my doctor and they had no idea what it was, but made me an appt for a month and a half from now. Big help... Do you think that we have all been abducted by aliens, or we have some kind of transmitter in our vaginas? Can't wait to see some new stuff on this.. Please if anyone can find the cause of this... LET US KNOW.

Red face I too am vibrating!

I am SO pleased that I am not the only one experiencing this strange feeling. While sitting down yesterday, I noticed this vibration that seemed to be coming from my vaginal area and I too thougth that I must have sat on my mobile phone!

I have been vibrating constantly for the last 24 hours. The vibration occurs every 14 seconds or so and lasts 2-3 seconds. It does not seem to matter whether I am lying down, sitting down or standing up. I have also noticed that if I lay my hand flat against the pubic bone and press, this causes the vibration to occur. Very strange indeed!

I am 31 years old, have no children and have been taking the contraceptive pill for may years now, Yasmin at the moment. I started my period on the Saturday night and the vibrating started on the Sunday afternoon, don't know if this is important. I use Tampax.

The only thing new to my routine is the fact that I started following an exercise video on Thursday, which is not something I do very often as I hate exercising. Other than this I can think of nothing else new in my routine either physically or medicine wise that may cause this weird vibrating.

If anyone finds out anything new about this, please post as it is very annying, not to mention a little worrying.

I put in a call to my doctor yesterday. I spoke with the nurse because the doctor was in surgery. She could barely control her laughter as I tried to explain this buzzing vibration. I had already left work by the time the doctor got around to returning my call but I have high hopes of talking with her today.

The buzzing seemed to subside at some point last nite but it was constant yesterday like every second. I laughed about it all day at work as I had shared this strange happening with some of my closest co-workers. Let's face it you have to laugh about it. As for right now this morning, it hasn't started yet.. I hope it won't.. but I will be sure to share any new information.

Default Not buzzing right now..

ok, I talked to the doctor this time and she has never heard of it. I told her about this forum and she was amazed. I have an appointment on thursday morning. I will let you know what she says.
Actually I am not having the buzzin so far today. Just like a car when you take it the mechanic it doesn't do that thing that made you bring it there inthe first place. I don't wish the buzz to come back but I surely would like to find out what it is.

Default What happened to my Buzz?

I am not complaining, but I actually went to my doctor today and the buzz was no where to be found. ****it, I wanted it to be there today. Anyway, my doctor gave me a complete exam including a vaginal ultrasound. There was nothing there. My IUD is fine, not loose , and everything looked normal. So my doctor is as puzzled as we are. I printed out pages from this forum and gave them to her. Keep us dated on your progress.
