Default Bleeding between periods.. not spotting?

Okay. Here we go again.

I just recovered from a pretty long and drawn out UTI, and now.. twice, once last night and once this morning, I've found a small blood clot in my urine, with a little pinkish blood on the TP afterward. I'm also experiencing some very very mild cramping that feels like menstrual cramps (I usually have terrible cramps so this feels like nothing)... but my period has not yet started. Is this what's considered spotting? I've never bled between periods before, and there's 0 chance of pregnancy. I'm not running a fever, and have no unusual symptoms other than the cramping and the bleeding. I read on another website that stress can cause this to happen, and since I am feeling the stress, I wonder if that's accurate?

Well, I actually did wind up with my period after all. But, now it's stopped after 2 days - I mean, it went from heavy to nothing over night. I didn't see any blood until today.. and only when I wiped after using the restroom. The only information I can seem to find points to kidney infection, but even though I just went through a drawn out UTI, I don't have any back pain or abdominal pain (just slight cramping still, barely noticeable). I am very tired, but I figured that was from spending too many hours doing school work yesterday. My period has never been normal, but it's also never done anything weird like this. My doctor isn't in the office until Tuesday, so I'm wondering if I should see someone else before then, or just wait to see if everything goes back to normal? Or if anyone else has had a similar experience? Could the antibiotics have messed up my somewhat normal cycle?
