Default I think I had an allergic reaction to Vagisil

I was having mild external itching for the past 4 or 5 days. Two days ago, I used Vagisil to relieve the itching and it made my vagina swell about twice the size it should be. There is no pain, just itching, redness, and swelling. I don't have burning while urinating, no discharge, and no bad odor. I am on my last dose of Monistat (last dose is tonight) which was recommended for a possible yeast infection. However, nothing is getting better but nothing is getting worse either. The itching is driving me CRAZY. I barely made it through school last night.

I don't have health insurance so going to the doctor is very expensive. I am not too worried, though, because I don't have pain or odors. Does anyone know of any itch relievers??? I am about ready to go the doctor, but am really trying to hold off on it for the sake of $$.
Should I be more worried?? What OTC itch relievers can I use besides Vagisil?

Default

If you swelled up and only when you put the Vagisil on, then chances are you are allergic to something in there.

The Monistat is good for Thrush, I suggest you get another dose of that and if it doesn't clear it, then go back to the Doctors but dis-continue using Vagisil in the meantime.
