I was reading about home remedies for yeast infections, and a couple of articles suggested yogurt tampons. It sounds weird. They said filling tampon applicators with yogurt and freezing them. Then when a yeast infection comes, insert the "tampon" just like you would with a regular tampon. I'm not planning on trying this any time soon. Was just curious if anyone has heard and/or tried this??

Havewn't tryed quite this method, but have used plain, organic yogurt intervaginally to relieve discomfort from yeast or some other irritation. It works pretty well but can get a but messy. Be sure to use a pad. Depending on your sleep position it works well at night.
