    Default Septate Hymen?

I just discovered something.. that I have a septate hymen. (A band of tissue stretching across the vaginal opening.)
Its gotten caught on my tampons a few times, but if I use a certain brand of tampons (they expand differently) I don't have this problem.
I always thought it was odd, but I never really thought anything about it. And since I've had sex, its gotten stretched out more and has never interfered with sex.
My question to you ladies out there... does anyone else have this hyman abnormality? If so, how do you deal with it? Should I bother bringing it up with my doctor, even though it has never bothered me?

I also have a septate hymen but I found out several years after I had sex. It broke during sex with a mild amount of pain and now I have two sort of small "tabs" I guess I would call them on the top and bottom of my vaginal opening. You may want to get it removed just so you don't have to worry or be annoyed by it. Do you have trouble removing tampons?
