I've had thrush for about three months I've tried all the treatments and nothing is working (My doctor has referred me to a gynecologist) but I'm just wondering how it hasn't went away yet I'm positive its nothing else and it isn't being transmitted sexually as I've avoided sex since I was diagnosed.

Kerry i understand what u are going through,i had it before it was there once a month just before my menstural period i even thought it was an STI and some nurse also diagnosed me for that,a year later i went to another clinic and i met a sister there who explained to me what it was and how to avoid it,avoid sitting in hot water tubs, avoid having a bath by all means use a shower, avoid perfumed and antibacteric soap at all cost if you dont mind use the green sunlight washing soap it is mild, nonperfume and has got no antibacterials. and please dont forget to eat your Yogurt if u can apply it down there!!
