I was on Orthotricyclen for almost 6 years. I was recently diagnosed with symptomatic dysplasia, but one of my symptoms is a really heavy, yellow discharge (not associated with infection of any kind) and my doctor is convinced it's caused by birth control. So I quit my birth control two weeks ago.

At first my discharge seemed to be lighter but now it's back just as badly as it's been for two years. If my birth control really WAS the cause of this, would I notice an improvement this quickly or will it take awhile? Has anyone else quit birth control that was causing them problems, and if so how long were you off it before your problems disappeared 100%?
