Looking for advice...

Recently i have experienced some bleeding outside of my normal menstral cycle. I am also experiencing some uncomfortable pain in my ovarian area. I have been to my doctor whom has carried out some tests and has prescribed some medication for the bleeding. Since then the bleeding has stopped although the pain has increased. I have 3 days until i have my results, although i am starting to worry.
Anybody had similar? Any advice?
