The hood of my vagina is dry, a little itchy and red. I have no other symptoms or discharge. I have tried to apply A&D ointment at night, which seems to help, but it returns the next day. What can it be?

Do you mean the hood on the clitoris?
Why don't you go to a pharmacy and tell your symptoms to the pharmacist. Then they might be able to give you better ointment.
