Thread: itchy-red spot in labia

I have had an itchy red spot since yesterday on my right labia. It's a red (chaffing) looking spot. I am 44 yrs. old and have noticed at times after my period that I get itchy and uncomfortable for some days. No discharge.
I have not had sex for 8 months (separated form husband). Now back together and we had sex for the first time on Thursday. The red spot and itch started on Friday. Any ideas?????

you could have thrush that comes at a certain time of your period, have you ever heard of cyclical candidiasis?

I find that before my period I get the itchy and uncomfortableness for days and yet no discharge. Recently been diagnoised with cyclical candidiasis.
