    Hi Everyone
I have just recently been advised by my Gyno to get the Implanon over the Mirena as previous advised as I've not had children it could be harder to put in.

I suffer from Cyclical Candidiasis which is a complex yeast infection, which suffers like me experience only during certain part of the menstrual cycle and she mentioned that most people with my condition who go on the Implanon seem to recover.

Is there anyone here who have suffered from this condition and has the Implanon or tried it, I am not sure wither to go the implanon or the depo shot. I want to hear your stories.

    Many Thanks

    Hi Jayci,

I don't know, I always think that it's scary to make management decisions but they have to be made.

If your Doctor has stated it works for alot of women and your in doubt, go and get a second Doctor's opinion, to reasure your mind

It's horrid being a woman and I'm sorry your suffering alot in that department but you need to live your life happy and free, so find the solution

I'm also bringing up this thread so if anyone can answer from their own experience, they do so.

Best wishes in resolving all of this.

    Thanks so much.

I am not doubting so much, I just want to know that it works or if it works for others then there might be a chance it could for me... I've just had issues with the Mini Pill previously as we were trying Prostogen only pills and it never took, so just a little concerned about the implanon.
