Thread: vaginal prolapse

Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with vaginal prolapse and rectocele. Has anyone had surgery for this and if so, how did it work out?

My aunt had vaginal prolapse and corrective surgery for it a couple of years ago. She had 3 kids, and the doc seemed to think that was much of the cause. She was mid-60's and recovered w/o problems.
I don't know other details, tho her problem put the fear 'o god into me re: kegel exercises.
