I am 21 years old and for the last 9 months I have been experiencing pelvic pain; mostly sharp, shooting pains. To begin with I was diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease and took antibiotics, but the pain still did not subside. I then had an ultrasound scan and that was all fine, no endometrosis or anything. The pains went away for a month, but now they have returned and the shooting pains centre around my cervix, lower vaginal area. I also have a thick, white discharge- which may be due to thrush. I have also had every STI test going!

It is just really getting down and I am coming up to my finals at university. Does anyone think it would be wise to have a smear test? as I have not had one yet. If anyone is experiencing similar pain and has been diasgnosed- please get in touch.
