Thread: problems with marina coil after 4 years!

I have had the marina coil fitted for the past 4 years, 4 months. Everything jas being great with it up until a few months ago. Periods have become more irregular and as they are really really light i generally only know when i am on one when i start to get a couple of spots on my chin and get really tired and have faint blood for a day. The last few months ive being really emotional. This last month i have had a period for the full month, spots continually and on my back ( why i don't know) and feel real down and still really emotional ( my more husband ), spots of blood on several random days and brown discharge. Am i right to think it could be the coil effecting my body???

hi there yes i think u are right had mine for 3 and half years almost went crazy had a nervous breakdown the hormones are different for everyone but didnt work for me.had it out 5 weeks ago and feeling better every day now
