Hello all,

I'm brand new here. 2 1/2 months ago started spotting between periods just about every day. Usually just once a day. Went to dr, she did endometrial biopsy which came back negative. Pap smear hasn't come back yet but I've never had an abnormal one.

I'm in my late 40s & haven't gone through menopause. Not on any birth control or hormones & have never been sexually active.

The dr. wanted to do a pelvic ultrasound but my job has become insanely busy so I had to cancel.

Does anyone know what would cause daily spotting? Most of what I've read mentions it as a side effect of b/c but that's obviously not the case w/me. Would perimenopause cause this?
