Hey sweets. There is another thread I posted this in but I don't remember which so I'll run it down again. Last year I was hospitalized for a kidney infection. The reason was because of an untreated UTI that I thought had gone away. I drank so much cranberry juice that I didn't feel it anymore and thought it was gone. WRONG!!! Several weeks later, I began to have a dull lower abdominal and lower back pain.Days after, I had a fever and could not get out of bed unless I had to vomit or pee and my urine turned a yellowish green. My husband called the ambulance and upon arrival and several tests, they told me it was a kidney infection and they come from UTI"S backing up in to your kidney. If your doctor is one that sucks, lol, your best bet would be to REQUEST for these particular tests to be done. A UTI can be dangerous if not handled properly. I hope that I've helped. I'm not a doctor, but I've been through alot when it comes to my vaginal area. If it's too wet, there's a problem! If it's too dry, there's a problem! If my soap was too strong, there's a problem! If I douche, spray, powder, wear nylon panties, drink too many sugary drinks, eat too many sweets, don't urinate after sex, hold my urine too long, change my detergent, happen to go to someone's house where they had scented toilet paper......for crying out loud I thought crossing the street at a highway type intersection was hard....lol always and take care sweets. I hope I helped some. And if any of those symptoms occur, go to the emergency room.

Hi I've suffered UTI's for years even before I was sexually active, I've also been diagnosed with BV which goes hand in hand with the infection.
I'm no stranger to back pain, abdominal pain, kidney infections, ultrasounds, antibiotics and a balanced diet/excercise regime, I've tried everything. My friend told me about cranberry pills, they're not cheap but they're cheaper than a doctors appointment and better for your body than antibiotics. The ones I use are GO CRANBERRY 30,000+ vege capsules for Urinary Tract Health. They work! But they've got to be this strong, I've used cheaper weaker ones and just end up back at the doctors. Also drinking plenty of water and don't eat too many things with vitamin c while your on them it makes you feel sick.
Hope this helps someone else
