I have had many surgeries since I was 21 for endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts. I had a total hysterectomy less than 9 months ago. I am finally feeling so much better since the hysterectomy. Does scar tissue show up on a ultrasound?

Depends how long the procedure has been and your body's way of healing itself. Yes, in some cases it does, but generally speaking, it doesn't.

In relation to this, ultrasound therapy is now being used to treat the following conditions: tendonitis, non-acute joint swelling, muscle spasm, and even Peyronie's Disease (to break down the scar tissue).

However, there are contraindications, which include local malignancy, metal implants below the treated area, local acute infection, vascular abnormalities, and directly on the abdomen of pregnant women, or over the skull, eyes or the spinal cord in the area of a laminectomy.

I am glad that you are feeling much better since your surgery! Are you having problems with your scar tissue or you just curious? I will be getting mine at the end of the month and I can hardly wait! Did you have a full hysterectomy or a partial one?
