Okay so i lost my virginity about 2 weeks ago and it was extremely painful and i bled a lot which was expected. A few days after i was still bleeding but i thought that was normal, okay after the bleeding stoped it started itching and burning real bad for about a week. I used vagisil and it finally stopped. I stuck my finger in my vagina and there was lots of yellow thick discharge inside. I tried to remove it all. Now its no longer itching but every time i check my undies i have thick yellow discharge. & yes a condom was used during sex. Should i see a doctor? what is going on?

I would go to the Dr. You may have an infection, maybe a yeast infection or something else.

The Dr will be able to do an exam and prescribe antibiotics if he feels you need them. It may not even have something to do with having sex, just a coincidence.

It does sound like a yeast infection. Sometimes the discharge can smell bad too. Itchiness is the major sign of a yeast infection. I always get them when I take antibiotics.

If you never had one before, they're most likely going to give you a pill to take.. one pill, that's it and it clears it up in a day or two. My doctor always gives out a pill. She never makes me use monistat or anything like that.

    I think you're fine though!
