    Default Beta Strep?

So i had some issues with recurring BV for a while, trying all these different things, and recently went back to the doc to see what else i could do. well they tested again, and i was negative for bacteria and yeast, but did show small signs of what i think she said was beta strep (just looking it up online, that seems to be the name of it).

she said they usually don't treat it unless you are pregnant, and most times treatment can lead to a yeast infection anyway.

wth? i never knew you could get strep down there! has anyone had this?

I've never been told I had it but I've heard of it, it is very common. search for gbs or group b strep, I've heard that most women have it without symptoms but it can cause discharge and odor. Did you go in for the test because you had symptoms?
