I had an abdominal myomectomy 6 weeks ago. I had some trouble a few weeks ago and found out that I had an infection in the incision. The doctor put me on a week of antibiotics. It has been 2 weeks since I finished the antibiotics and my scar doesn't seem to be healing like I think it should. There is still some drainage and bleeding. I am not sure if this is normal or if I should be concerned. Anyone had any experience with this before?
Here is a picture of the scar.

Infections of deep wounds/incisions can become very complicated very quickly. If you have doubts, see your doctor. The red around the edges worries me.

Me too....I am not sure what it's suppose to look like at this point but it feels as though it's taking too long to heal.
