I just went to the GYN last Wednesday to see if I'm all set to get PG. So the doc did a pelvic exam and told me "Your uterus is tipped backwards, did you know that?" I'd never even heard of such a thing haha. He told me it's nothing to worry about...it's just like being right handed or left handed.
I also found out I have a cyst on my right ovary and a fibroid in my uterus - which no one told me after my ultrasounds (I had them b/c I've been having pelvic pain for a year now...they think it's just because of my digestive issues).

But I'm just curious if there's anyone else out there with a retroverted uterus. From all I've read/heard, it shouldn't affect fertility...and it "generally" doesn't cause any symptoms, but the ones that are online...explains A LOT for me. I've always had lower back pain. I also have digestive issues and I don't think that's listed as a symptom, but if you look at a diagram, the bowel looks pretty squished.

So...anyone else out there? Has it had an affect on your fertility or digestive system?

I was told along time ago that I had a tilted uterus, but I was also told it corrects itself, and then can go back titled and again, like your Doctor said, nothing wrong, or to worry about.

However, I do have a bad digestive system I was of the impression that was due to a stress related injury and to simply watch my diet, which I do, putting the two together actually makes sense, perhaps I shall do a little research mam

One of my friends has one and a nurse (wrongly) told her it would make it more difficult to get pregnant so she wasn't as careful as she otherwise would have been and fell pregnant almost immediately after! She doesn't have digestive problems though.
