Thread: cervical cysts

I'm a 36-yr-old female. My NP noticed a large cervical cyst while doing my pap today and said I needed to have it removed(and possibly tested just to be safe), so I'm being referred to a doctor who does just that in office. I hadn't had a pap in ages and who knows how long it had been growing there.

Has anyone ever had to have one removed?

i have cervical cysts too i found out thru a pelvic ultrasound. The nurse called me and told me the Dr. wasnt concerned and for me not to worry. I asked how big and how many and she couldnt tell me. I dont have medical so i had to go to the county hospital so I guess that is how they treat their patients. I asked if I could talk to the Dr. or email and they said no. So here i sit, clueless, all I know is I bleed 20 days out of the month for the past 3 months with bad cramps and back pain. This is very upsetting knowing I have not help. If you hear anything can you let me know. I hear to eat organic food, take birth control to control bleeding and have a teaspoon of apple cider viniger daily. I guess since the Dr. cant help me Ill have to find a way to help myself.
