Thread: Chronic Vaginal/Urethra Pain And Lump Question

Several issues in one and need an idea.

First off, like in a past post of mine, I've was having an annoying constant sensation of my vagina for almost 3 months. Well, last friday it started getting REALLY bad and painful.

As the days passed - the agony got worse.

My labia was swelling, this lump(which I will discuss later) was swelling, and all was red down there. It eventually became constantly itchy and burning. Cremes did not work. Urination was like . It burned my urethra and vagina so bad I was too scared to pee - but I had to, as last week I had another kidney stone attack and must pass the stone.

Yesterday was horrifying. It felt like I was being screwed by a cactus. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night.
So far all I could do was take a percocet to at least sedate me and try to settle the pain a little, although the effectiveness of the pill was weak and did better for a kidney stone attack. I was surprized as percocet is a very strong pain killer.

But something REALLY weird happend this morning right after waking up!

The pain suddenly got so throbbing I was on my knees screaming.
The pain increased and felt like something really sharp and jagged was "coming out."
Then all of a sudden I had a short vibration in my pelvic area(either my uterus or bladder I'm sure). The pain was GONE!!!!!!!!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After that I hit the hay and caught me some extra Zs.

So far today, I have yet to have any type of the pain. My pee sometimes burns a little, but nothing remotely as painful as before.

I'm currently going through my period right now(5th day, almost done!) and I have noticed some new behavior:

I'm not bleeding as much.

I have yet to have any type of seizure activity(I have a seizure disorder and seizure activity is frequent during my period).

Some of the common symptoms of my period, like bloating and gas, has not occured.

Almost like I'm getting a break, eh? Hmmm. I'm very puzzled.

So far, the only ideas that come to mind that caused that pain was some kind of vaginismus or a kidney stone.
I have set up an appointment to a gynecologist - unfortuantly it's till next monday(thank god that pain went away! I just hope it stays away!).

Right now, my swelling is already going down and everything is going great.

So, any ideas what this is? Very new to me and I hope it never ever happens again! I officially list this unknown type of vaginal and urethra agony on par with the pain rate of a kidney stone - 10/10!

---- I also wanted to add something. I have this small cherry-sized "lump" inside my vagina. I've had it all my life and has never bothered me.

While I was having the pain, I let my mom look take a look inside to see if she could see anything I couldn't that could be the reason why I was in so much pain.
The only thing that stood out was a "lump." She says she doesn't have one and it doesn't look normal.
I always thought it was normal..........

Could it really be a tumor/cyst?
