Thread: Help me Please!! HPV???

I just recieved a call from my doctor and appartently my pap test came back and I am HPV Positive?! I am freaking out! I had that Gardasil shot so I shouldn't get HPV should I? What is it? How did I get it? They are going to try and set me up with a Gyno Doc that is MALE??? I am so nervous! Help me!!

I have Gardisil, and the truth is, it doesn't make you immune to anything. It helps your body have a fighting chance if you were to get cancer or warts and it gives you a less likely chance to get warts. I think that's how it goes, but I doubt it's immunity. You may have gotten it from a previous partner :/ HPV can go along with no symptoms.

Just talk with your doctor and they will help you. It's scary to know you have HVP, but they will help you.
