Question Please Help me!! I need to know what to do next. . .Vulvodynia

Hi everyone, I am seeking forums for help. Here's my story:

I've had this issue for 7 months with doctors giving up on me and passing me off to someone else, so we (my fiance and I) don't know where to turn.

First off my symptoms: Greenish white discharge, bright red around vulva, extreme itching, whitish cracking of vulva skin, hives every once in awhile on the thighs and vulva and normal skin around it, Dryness occurs when I don't use a moisturizer, extreme pain (on a scale of 1 to 10, average 6-7), hurts to walk, pins and needles, muscle spasms, and within the past 2 weeks my thighs have begun to looked bruised (and my vulva just feels like a big bruise!

7 months ago, Ive had my gallbladder removed. During surgery I had a major allergic reaction to Anseth. I recovered from the surgery, but about a day or two after the surgery I had signs of a UTI which was later confirmed at the doctors. A few weeks later I ended up getting a yeast infection, followed by bacterial infection, followed by another yeast infection. The symptoms still didn't go away after 2 months of seeing this doctor, and the doctor eventually told me its all in my head thus causing my symptoms.

So we went to another gyno, and he did find a "bad" yeast infection. but then a week after this "bad" yeast infection, the cultures and PAP came back normal, even though I still had symptoms and pain, so he diagnosed me with vulvodynia (symptom, not disease) and sent me to cleveland clinic.

The first visit at cleveland clinic, the doctor looked under his microscope and told us I had a "rare" yeast infection, did a culture, and gave me sporonax all that day. A week later, those cultures and PAP tests came back negative once again, BUT the sporonax did reduce my symptoms. I felt like I was 95% better. But of course, since the cultures came back negative, the doctor said that's not it, so they do a biopsy which showed inflammation suggesting contact dermatitis and gave me a steroid cream while I gets into a dermatologist. The cream did reduce my symptoms by about 70%. But I obviously can't be on that for more than a few weeks.

We go to a dermatologist next. This doctor takes a look at the discharge and thinks its a yeast infection, gives me sporanox and an antibiotic for a possible bacterial infection, and takes some cultures. Once again, my symptoms get better by about 95% within a week, but the yeast culture comes back negative and the bacterial culture was CANCELED! So they do another, but that too came back negative. So the dermatologist looks into contact dermatitis from cleveland clinic, but the test cleveland clinic did wasn't conclusive enough for her, so she does ANOTHER biopsy. It took exactly 2 weeks to get the results from that (all in the meantime I have nothing to help my flared up condition). Those results didn't show any signs of contact dermatitis. So the doctor told me its all in my head, and it could be stress, however she's still sending me for patch testing.

If you include the gallbladder problems prior to this problem, I have been sick for 10 months now. With these doctors constantly passing me off to someone else because they don't know what's wrong with me is putting a lot of stress on the two of us, especially me. I can't afford going to these doctors just to find out I'm "healthy" when it seems obvious that there is something physically wrong with a mental stress developing on top of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    . . .what do I do next?

There are tea tree oil supposetories, natural douches, coconut oil ( u can put it on outside and inside), eat lots of yogurt, you can try plain/unsweetned yogurt down there also, probiotics help too, limit processed sugar intake as it helps bacteria grow. "google" "treating BV infection naturally"...., lots of options. Oh and garlic capsules daily, that's a natural antibiotic. I bet you can get rid of it of you try a few of these combined for several weeks.

I have tried virgin coconut oil (which is okay, after a while it got bothersome) and take garlic pills daily. As for the tea tree oil suppositories, can you point me in the right direction of where I can purchase some?

I at least eat yogurt once a day, should I increase my daily intake?

I have actually tried probiotic suppositories, they felt nice, then when they finished disolving sticky liquid coated my vulva and it hurt. :/

Anything else? I am willing to try anything!

You can easily make your own tea tree pessaries, all you need is tea tree oil, olive oil and a chunk of beeswax which you can get online or from a health food shop. Mix a tiny bit of tea tree with some olive oil, you should only just be able to smell it, then melt a chunk of beeswax in the microwave until it's liquid and add that and let it cool. Once it's cool but not completely cold and set shape how you want it and pop them in the fridge to harden. Cheap and easy. The quantities vary for how many you make but a few drops of tea tree, tablespoon of olive oil and about a quarter to half the block of beeswax will make you several.

    Vera,
You can get tea tree oil supposetories at iherb.com or at your local health food store should have them too. You only have to use one a day, for like a week. And you should be cleared up. As for the probiotics, I meant take a probiotic chewable or pill once daily. iherb.com or your local health food store has those as well. I love coconut oil, you can actually make the supposetories with a drop of organic tea tree oil and a teaspoon of coconut oil. But anything you try, you need to stick with it daily, for a week or two. To see if it truely helps or not. The yogurt, if it's 8 oz. daily, it should be enough....
As far as the muscle down there, sounds like they are just having spasms?

That would make sense that they are spasms. I've felt them before but have never seen them. What scares me the most are the bruises. . :/ they are happening for some reason, but I have no idea what.
