I noticed this issue about 5 days ago. It seems anywhere there is a crease on my vulva, a small cut appeared. There is also a small cut where the labia majora and thigh meet. It hurts to the touch and they will bleed without warning. My vaginal opening is extremely red, as is the labia minora. My clitoral hood is the normal pale pink color. I'm 15 and have no mother, and it would be extremely awkward to tell my dad what's wrong / ask to visit an OB unless this is very serious, in which case I will tell him immediately.
It doesn't itch and there's no abnormal discharge / weird smell. I'm due for my period in a week but I've been getting it for three years and this has never happened before. I've looked online and the only answer I've come across is the possibility of herpes, however the last time I had sex was about two and a half months ago and my partner was a virgin (as was I).
I did read somewhere that it may be a fungal infection but the poster did not say what type. I can go to the store and buy medication for this on my own if somebody can tell me what it is, but I have limited money and don't want to just go out and buy five hundred different creams.
