Hello!!
I recently had a chlamydia test and it came back fine so woo to that! My question is - when they are in their labs and testing the sample etc etc, do they look for any other STDS? If they found from the sample you had another STD, would they tell you about it or inform your doctor - or is it strictly for the STD tested for?
Random i know - but curiosity got the better of me.

If they did a general STD screen then yes they will test for various things otherwise no. Each STD can have a different laboratory method, so if a tech is told to run a culture for chlamydia then that is what they are going to do.
